Can sources stay anonymous?
Yes. Tipsters never need an app, account or login, and your newsroom chooses whether to accept fully anonymous submissions. Everything that comes in is locked down as private to your newsroom.
What evidence do we get that material is genuine?
Every file is checked for Content Credentials (C2PA), capture metadata and signs of AI generation or manipulation, and given a credibility score. News gives your desk evidence to assess — the editorial judgement stays with you.
Does material or source data ever leave our control?
No. AI analysis runs on Luups' own machines using local models, storage stays within the EU, and nothing is sent to external AI services. Submissions are private to your newsroom.
How does News fit into the workflow we already have?
News is the protected front door, not a new desk. Send verified material on to NTB or CuttingRoom, export to S3, or publish embeds, feeds and wallboards on your own sites — all from the same timeline.
How are we protected from harmful submissions?
Every file is virus-scanned and safety-screened before anyone on your team opens it, and rate limiting keeps spam floods out. Your staff work from analysed, prioritised material — not a raw inbox.
